Fiber Fence Monitoring System
Fiber FenceT monitors and protects your perimeter or defined border through a laser detection system that uses fiber optic cable as the waveguide. Mounted directly to existing perimeter fences (chain link, for example).Using the latest OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) technology, the condition of the fiber cable is monitored continuously - with any breaks or changes in tension recognized immediately due to the resulting change in light transmission. An alarm is signaled and the exact location of the event is pinpointed.
